New Classes Are Filling Up Fast - Check Out the Fall Program

The New York Acting School for Film and Television has posted the completely revised list of classes to be offered Starting in September.  After being recognized as the best film and television acting school in NYC, founder and director Mark Stolzenberg set out to make the school even better.

"The School has a very unique approach.  Because each student comes to the school with very different backgrounds, skill levels, and goals, we tailor the classes to the student.  As a result, in a classroom of 15 students in our Essentials of Acting Class, there might be 5 different skill sets being practiced on any given night.  There is very little lecture.  The classes are designed to provide students with an opportunity to work on their craft under the direction of experienced teachers."

"Moreover, the cameras are key.  We are constantly filming and reviewing what the camera is actually seeing.  Unlike stage, the performance must pass through the camera lens prior to being enjoyed by the audience.  We concentrate our teaching on how to make sure the actor is getting the right message through the camera and into the heart of the viewers."

New Acting Classes for 2013

Television News Broadcasting/Hosting 220 - 9 Classes    $550.00

Class 220 is designed for those with little or no experience in TV news, but who believe this could be a potential career path for them.  The class is made up of 9 workshops with each class emphasizing different skill sets and offering personalized coaching. details coming

Students may choose to take News Broadcasting Classes at any time as an additional class or as a substitution for Essentials or Advanced classes.

The Business of Acting 230 - 4 Classes                  $350.00

Acting is more than a set of skills and talent.  Acting is a business.  In this course, you will learn from a seasoned professional how to make a living doing what you love.  This course is designed for beginners to professionals who need to jump start their careers.  details

Students may choose to take The Business of Acting Classes at any time as an additional class or as a substitution for Essentials or Advanced classes.
